Mental Health Intership
The Colorado Ethiopian Community (CEC) is now accepting applications for our Fall Mental Health Internship — a paid opportunity for college and university students interested in exploring careers in public and behavioral health. This 3-month internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the mental health field, while helping students build key professional skills in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Interns will work closely with our team to support mental health initiatives, assist with outreach and education projects, and gain exposure to the operations of a nonprofit organization. This internship is ideal for students passionate about mental wellness, community service, and health equity — and looking to make a real impact while developing their resume.
Interns will earn $18/hour, working 15 hours per week from August to November 30, 2025, for a total of 175 paid hours.

Youth Summer Leadership Internship
The Colorado Ethiopian Community (CEC) is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns for our Youth Summer Leadership Internship program. This 8-week leadership experience is designed to empower Ethiopian youth, equipping them with valuable skills in leadership, social media, marketing, event planning, and fundraising.
Interns will play a key role in planning and executing community events, gaining hands-on experience in non-profit work, networking with professionals, and making a lasting impact in their community. This internship is a great opportunity for high school and college students looking to develop leadership skills, gain professional experience, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
